Arnold Puetz

Arnold J. Puetz, 86, Breckenridge , MN , formerly Moorhead MN and Wyndmere , ND , died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge. The funeral mass will be Thursday October 16, 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Wyndmere. There will be visitation Wednesday, October 15, from 5 PM to 8 PM, with a 7 PM prayer service at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and one hour before the funeral at the church on Thursday.

Arnold John Puetz was born on April 23, 1923 near Wyndmere N.D .







Arnold was married to Rose M Swanson on Dec. 14th, 1946 In Tacoma WA.  They soon moved to a farm near Moselle where they raised 5 children.  His employment included farming, owner of Wyndmere Lockers, and manager of the Wyndmere Bowling Alley. In 1969, he moved to Moorhead , MN to work for employment providers including, OEO Clay-Wilkin Opportunity Counsel, and Rural Minnesota Sep.





He married Margie (Kjos) Johnson on Sept. 18, 1971 and together lived in Moorhead until her death in 2007.





He is preceded in death by: his parents Nicholas and Annie (Soehner) Puetz, his wife Margie (Kjos) Puetz, son Dennis G. Puetz, granddaughter Sara Johnson, and daughter-in-law Bernadine Goerger- Puetz.





Arnold survivors include a brother, Donald Puetz, sister Ethel Little, daughters Cindy Swanson, Diane Puetz, sons Dan Puetz, David Puetz, Jim Johnson (Corcoran, MN) Sheryl Dunn (Shakopee, MN) and Kathy Flieth (Fargo, ND), 12 grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren.
