Beverley Petermann

Beverley was born on July 13, 1935 in Breckenridge, MN to Rudolph and Verneal (Eckhoff) Ehrens. She grew up and attended school in the Dwight, ND area. Bev was united in marriage to Robert L. Cade in 1952 and to this union two children were born, Diana and Loren. She worked for area businesses including Uncle Jim's and Kelly's.

On January 7, 1978, Bev married Herb Petermann at Breckenridge Lutheran Church. They moved to Oregon for four years so Loren could finish his education and moved back to the farm north of Wahpeton in 1982. She lived there to the present day where they raised 33 foster children and they acted as "grandma and grandpa" to many local children.

Bev was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed canning vegetables, crocheting, bingo, and an occasional trip to the nickel machines. She loved entertaining family and friends when they came to visit and playing cards, especially hand and foot.

Bev is survived by her husband, Herb Petermann, rural Wahpeton, ND; her daughter, Diana (Steven) "Cade" Rerucha, Arkansas; her son, Loren (Lisa) Cade, Breckenridge, MN; her four grandchildren, Shaun (Christy) Cross and their children, Vanessa and Bryson, Arkansas, Robert Cade, Colorado Springs, CO, Harry Cade, Wahpeton, ND, Jeana (Cam) Smart, and their children, Jack and William, Fargo, ND; her three step-grandchildren, Amanda, Felicia, and Kristina; one step great-grandchild, Harmony; her nine brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Verneal Ehrens and one brother, Buzz Ehrens.
