DeElda Vosberg

July 31, 1921 — September 18, 2010

DeElda was born on July 31, 1921 to Stephen and Agnes (Johnson) Little in Bismarck , ND . She grew up and attended country school in Burleigh County and graduated from Regan High School in 1939. After graduating, the family moved to a farm near Wyndmere , ND and she later graduated from the State School of Science in Wahpeton. DeElda then worked at the Richland County Courthouse.





DeElda was united in marriage to Lawrence Vosberg on April 21, 1945. They farmed in Danton Township until 1972 when they moved into Wyndmere. During that time she was a bookkeeper for Gormley Bean Company and Johnson’s Store in Wyndmere. Lawrence preceded her in death in 1997 and she continued living in Wyndmere until 2009. At that time, DeElda moved to Twin Town Villa in Breckenridge , MN and resided there until June 2010 when she moved to St. Catherine’s Living Center in Wahpeton.





DeElda was an active member of Wyndmere United Methodist Church and the Danton Homemakers. She enjoyed bowling, traveling with Lawrence , and spending time with her family and friends who will deeply miss her.





DeElda is survived by her children: Curtis (Pat) Vosberg, Wahpeton, ND, Karen (Ken) Foertsch, Medical Lake, WA, Tim (Connie) Vosberg, Wahpeton, ND, Myles (Maureen) Vosberg, Bismarck, ND; her 13 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Janet Dotzenrod, Wyndmere, ND.





She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Vosberg; her brother, Forrest “Bud” Little; and her sister, Dorothy Trygg.
