Gladys Wolter, 90, Breckenridge, MN, formerly rural Wahpeton, ND, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at St. Francis Healthcare Campus-Home, Breckenridge, MN. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton with Rev. Morris W. Stephens, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Friday.



Gladys Irene Peterson was born November 17, 1917, at rural Enderlin, Ransom County, North Dakota, the daughter of Emanuel and Gulowna Peterson. Gladys graduated from Enderlin High School. She was united in marriage to Reuben Jodsaas in 1941. During that time they lived in Lisbon, ND. She later married Edwin Wolter in 1970 and they resided near Dwight, ND. Edwin passed away March 6, 1980. Gladys moved to Wahpeton in 1983 and to Breckenridge in 1997.



Gladys was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church; currently a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Barney VFW Auxiliary; and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and visiting with people.



Gladys is survived by her daughter, Renee Hegel, Ronan, MT.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rebecca; her two sisters, Ramona and Edith; and her brother, Irvin ?Sonny?.
