, died Monday, December 14, 2009, at the Pioneer Cottages in Breckenridge.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 19, at
St.
Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fairmount.
Visitation will be Friday, December 18, from 4-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home in Wahpeton.
Idell was born May 4, 1913, at

, the daughter of Jack and Luella (Brown) Storts. She moved to Morris where she attended school. She worked for Swift and Company in Morris and married Ted Van Kempen in 1933 at
Brainerd
,
MN
. In 1952 Idell married Francis “Sid” Mosey in
Clark
,
SD.
The couple lived in
Abercrombie
,
ND
where they operated the Abercrombie Restaurant. They moved to
Fairmount
,
ND
, where they operated the Fairmount Farmers Market until Frank passed away in 1957. Idell later worked in Art’s Bar before retiring and living in Fairmount until moving to St. Francis Nursing Home,
Breckenridge
,
MN
in 2006 and Pioneer Cottages in Breckenridge in July 2008.
Idell was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, Altar Society, Eagles Drill Team and American legion Auxiliary.
She enjoyed her time at
Deer Lake
,
MN
especially fishing; she also enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and was member of the Fairmount Golf Club.
Idell is survived by her three sons and

Idell was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Ted and Frank, her sons: Charles Blaisdell and Richard Van Kempen, a granddaughter, Debbie Blaisdell; sisters, Ida Galles, Harriet Fjield, her brothers William and Ira and her special friend, Art Astrup.
