June 3, 1920 — August 1, 2010



June Rose Larson was born June 2, 1920 at Dwight , North Dakota to Edward and Anna Larson. She grew up in Dwight and attended grade school in Dwight and graduated from Wahpeton High School . She married Cecil Johnson of Galchutt , ND on April 27, 1938. They farmed the family farm until their retirement in 1982. She was a Charter member of the Galchutt Lutheran Church and their Ladies Aide; where she filled every office at one time or another. She was a member of the Fortnightly Club and Homemakers Club and many years as a leader of the Galchutt Eager Workers 4-H Club.





June and her husband moved to Ottertail Lake , MN in 1982. In 1997, they moved to Perham , MN . Following the death of her husband of 67 years, she moved to Cornerstone Commons in Plymouth , MN .





She is survived by her son Ronald (Diane) Johnson, Plymouth, MN and a daughter, Rita (Lawrence) Fenske of Williamsville, NY; 6 grandchildren, Gregory Johnson, Mark (Jenny) Johnson, David Johnson, Denise (Thad) Bridges, Brian (Julie) Fenske and Debra (John) Daniels; 6 great-grandchildren, Kelly, Joseph and Kimberly Daniels, Brent and Kendall Fenske and Brittany Bridges.





She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil on January 2, 2006 and two brothers, Harold and Millard Larson.
