Larry Luebke, 60, rural Wyndmere, ND, died Wednesday, September 3 , 2008 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 6, 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, Barney, ND, with Rev. Morris W. Stephens Jr., officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 6 PM to 8 PM with a 7 PM prayer service at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at Elk Creek Cemetery , Wyndmere , ND .

Larry Lyle Luebke was born September 23, 1947 to Emil and Alta (Johnson) Luebke at Breckenridge , MN . Larry attended school and graduated from Wyndmere High School in 1965. Larry married Barbara Wheeler on June 22, 1973 at Rolette , North Dakota . They lived and farmed near Wyndmere. Larry was the third generation to operate the Luebke farm.

Larry was a member of Peace Lutheran Church , Barney , ND

Larry is survived by his daughter and three grandchildren: Shannon (Scott) Petermann, and children, Brandon, Alec and Ethan, all of rural Wyndmere, ND; his son Brett (Danielle Ficek) Luebke, rural Wyndmere, his mother Alta Luebke, Wyndmere; and his sister, Barbara (Donald) Mellem, Blaine, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emil, and his wife Barbara .
