Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 25 at
Bethel
Lutheran
Church
in Wahpeton with Rev. Gordie Lee officiating.
A lunch will follow at the
Mooreton
Community Center
, all in attendance are invited.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service including a service by the Robert Bergman American Legion Post No. 283 Auxiliary all at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton; also, visitation one hour prior to time of service on Thursday at the church.
Interment will be held at a later date at
St. Paul

Cemetery
, rural Mooreton.
Lisa Marie Skovholt was born June 27, 1979, at
Breckenridge

MN
to Neal and Janice (McKay) Skovholt.
She graduated from
Wahpeton
High School
in 1997.
She continued her education and graduated form North Dakota State College of Science in Medical Records Technology in 1999.
Since graduating from college, Lisa held many different positions and was currently employed at Innovis Health, Fargo and held a part-time position at Cenex C Store, Wahpeton.
Lisa enjoyed throwing darts, spending time with friends and family, and spending time at
West Battle Lake
,
MN
.
She also enjoyed her 3 cats, “Paws”, “Tigger”, and “Tiny” and spent a lot of time with her nieces and nephews.
Lisa was a life member of
Mooreton
Lutheran
Church
and served as a leader of the church youth group and was a former member of the church council. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Mooreton.
She is survived by her parents, Neal and Shirley Skovholt, Mooreton; her sister, Karen (Jamie) Helgeson, Mooreton; her 2 brothers, Jeffrey, Mooreton, and Korey (Aimee), Mooreton; 9 nieces and nephews, Kristin, Nicholas, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Alec, Riley, Abbie, Owen, Elise, Tyler, Aaron; several aunts and uncles; 2 step-sisters, Cherie (Terry) Lawrence, Fergus Falls, MN and Rebecca (Jeff) Olson, Hawley, MN.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Janice, June 11, 1991; and her grandparents.
