Pauline Mohs

Pauline Mohs, 75, of Wahpeton, ND passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at her home under the care of hospice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton with Rev. Charles Cherry officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Pauline was born on August 25, 1940 to Paul and Adelaide (Wood) Darling at Athol Massachusetts. She grew up in Massachusetts and Washington State, and attended school at Bethel High graduating in 1959.
Pauline was united in marriage to Delmar "Moe" Mohs on April 17, 1970 in Tacoma, Washington. The couple traveled around for work and made their homes in Germany, Iowa, Louisiana, and Washington, before ultimately returning home to live in Wahpeton. Moe passed away on July 1, 2014 and Pauline continued to make her home in Wahpeton.

Pauline enjoyed working with food, working as a cook, waitress, and caterer throughout her life. She eniyed creating many people 's memorable cakes for their special occiasions. She was also a member of TOPS in all four different states and the Eagle's club.

Pauline is survived by three sisters, Elaine Langworthy, Lafayette, LA, Bev Haley, Ackley, IA, and Betty Gosewehr, Leesville, LA; one brother, Raymond Darling, Ellensburg, WA;. She will be greatly missed by all her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar and her parents, Paul and Adelaide.
