Pauline Trupka

Pauline was born November 22, 1905 at Conway, ND, the daughter of Wensell and Mary Pecka. She grew up and attended school in Conway. She married Edward Trupka on September 15, 1926 in Grafton, ND. Following the wedding they moved to Wahpeton, ND where Pauline cared for family on 4th Ave. N. Edward passed away October 21, 1971; Pauline continued to live on 4th Avenue N. until she entered St. Catherine's Living Center in 1997. In her time at St. Catherine's she touched many hearts of the staff and residents with her kindness and concern.

Pauline was a dedicated care giver and had a large garden where she canned many containers of produce. She was active in crocheting, sewing and had a green thumb with growing flowers and plants.

Pauline is survived by her two sons; George Trupka, Wahpeton, ND and Edward (Gloria) Trupka Jr., Fergus Falls, MN; five grandchildren; Rick (Connie) Trupka, Minneapolis, MN, Jerry (Karie) Trupka and Bonnie Trupka, both of Breckenridge, MN, Jim (Linda) Trupka, Moorhead, MN and Deborah (Robert) Gehring, Great Bend, ND, twelve great grandchildren; Ricky, Stephenie, Ashley, Heather, Alex, Brandon, Cynthia, Emily, Mike, Kristi, Kyle and Patrick and four great-great grandchildren; Dustin, Tatum, Jayden and Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, her infant son, Benny, two grandsons, infant Roy Trupka and Dale Trupka, her two daughter-in-laws, Marie and Lois and six brothers and two sisters.
