Aliana “Ali” Roberson, age 12, of Wahpeton, ND, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Fargo, ND. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with the Funeral Mass at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wahpeton, with Fr. Dale Lagodinski officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Aliana Roberson was born on February 21, 2006 to Alfonzo and Manda (Beltz) Roberson in Jamestown, ND. She attended kindergarten in Breckenridge, MN and elementary school in Wahpeton. Aliana enjoyed the outdoors. She loved riding bike, flag football, basketball, swimming, and going to the lake with her grandparents. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, doing hair and nails, and listening to music.
Aliana had a fun and loving personality. She had a way of making people laugh and wore a smile on her face often. She was a bit of a daredevil and was always willing to try anything. Aliana’s favorite class was art; she loved to draw, color, and paint on canvas, and she especially enjoyed making “Slime”. She was a very caring young girl, always watching over her siblings. She held a special place in her heart for all babies.
Aliana will forever remain in the hearts of her parents, Manda and Alfonzo Roberson, Wahpeton; her siblings, Tabitha (Brandon Seiler) Roberson, Alijah Roberson, and Alivia Roberson; grandparents, Mike & Jill Beltz, Breckenridge, MN and Barb Copeland, Wahpeton; her aunt, Jennifer Stiles; her uncles, Shane (Sue) Thymian, Dillan Copeland, Leroy Smith, Donta’ Smith, Royce Roberson, and Kenny Beltz; nephew Niklaus Seiler; and many, many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Roberson.
