Archie Kile

Archie Kile, 92, Wahpeton, ND, passed away Wednesday July 20, 2016, at St. Catherine's Living Center, Wahpeton. The Funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, at Wyndmere Lutheran Church with Rev. Harvey Henderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be at Freeman Cemetery, rural McLeod, ND. Arrangements are entrusted with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Archie was born February 11, 1924, at rural Englevale, ND, the son of Henry and Hulda Kile. He attended Cleveland school. He married Hazel Frisk on February 11, 1959 in Nevis, MN. The couple lived on the home farm northeast of McLeod. Archie and Hazel entered St. Catherine's in December of 2000. Hazel passed away December 14, 2001 and Archie continued to live there.

Archie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, now Wyndmere Lutheran Church. He was very good at fixing things.

Archie is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters: Henry, Vernon, Almond, Josephine, Mary, Edith, Helen and Fred.
