Arlene Motl

Arlene Ann (Wettstein) Motl, age 81, of New Hope, Minnesota passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022. Arlene was born to Leroy Peter Wettstein and Delilah Marion Wettstein on February 20, 1941, in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Her family moved to Staples, Minnesota in 1943, where she attended school and graduated in 1959.

She married Allen David Motl on July 25, 1960. They had six children together.

Arlene enjoyed doing crafts and playing card games with family and friends and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Wettstein; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wettstein and Regina Wettstein.

Arlene is survived by her children, Lori (Bob) Meier, Scot Motl, Bradley Motl, Daniel (Jen) Motl, Mark Motl and Allen (Robin) Jr. Motl; brothers, Roland, Lawrence (Shirley), Richard, and John (Linda); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grand child.
