Arthur Korth

Arthur Korth, 73, Wahpeton, ND passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, February 28, at St. John's Catholic Church, Wahpeton, ND with Rev. Dale Lagodinski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Arthur was born on March 4, 1941 in Hankinson, ND to Arthur William and Elsie (Neuman) Korth. He grew up and attended school in Greendale Township. Arthur was united in marriage to Rosemary Karel on April 30, 1962 at St. John's Catholic Church in Lidgerwood, ND. They moved to Wahpeton where he worked for Meide and Sons. In 1975, they moved to rural Breckenridge where Art worked for Alfred Krause for seventeen years, then Primewood for nineteen years. They moved back to Wahpeton in 2001 where they lived to the present day.

Art enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Rosemary, his two sons, Edward (Gail) Korth, Wahpeton, ND, Allan Korth, Fargo, ND; his two grandchildren, Nicholas (Sabrina) Korth, Breckenridge, MN and Danielle Korth, Fargo, ND; his two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Kinsley; his three brothers, Alfred Korth, Milwaukee, WI, Donald (Gayle) Korth, Cottage Grove, MN, Elmer (Jo) Korth, Hankinson, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two daughters, Marilyn Faye Korth, and Carolyn Kaye Korth, his brothers, Rodney, Allen, Edward, Wilfred Korth, his sisters, Alice Price, Delores Koppelman, Dorothy Thompson, Frances Schmidt.
