DUE TO INCLIMATE CONDITIONS, ALL SERVICES FOR BEVERLY HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL MONDAY DECEMEBER 29, 2025 WITH VISITATION 4-6 PM AND MEMORIAL AT 6 PM.
Beverly Eulaine Ann (Manstrom) Brosowske, a lifelong resident of rural Wyndmere, died Tuesday, December 23, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Bev was born in Breckenridge, MN., on June 7th, 1929, to Laura (Larson) and Alvin Manstrom. She grew up on a farm in Danton township, south of Wyndmere. She was baptized at Wyndmere Lutheran Church and graduated from Wyndmere High School in 1947. She then attended college in Wahpeton for a short time before choosing to care for her father and driving him and her mom around the country seeking treatment for his Parkinson's disease.
She then married Charles Brosowske Jr. on April 23, 1949, and together they created a home, one mile from her childhood home, where everyone felt welcomed and loved. There they raised their five children, Steve, Laurel, Gail, Tom, and Janet, and later their beloved nephew John.
She was active in Wyndmere Lutheran Church, 52-15 Homemakers Club, and many other organizations. She and Jr. supported their kids and grandkids in their many activities throughout the years. She had a lifelong love for horses and all animals. Her many hobbies included sewing, cooking, gardening, reading, geography, bowling, and horseback riding into her 70’s.
She was a great friend to all, quietly supporting her friends and family, never speaking ill of anyone. She was generous with her time and good wishes, never expecting anything in return.
She entered Sanford Hospital on Saturday, December 20 of this year, after living independently on her farm her whole life, which was always her goal. Her final wish was to see all of her family on Sunday, which she did, if not in person, via Facetime. She was sharp as a tack until her last day. Her family gathered for one last Christmas Eve in her home, which was tradition, but bittersweet without her there.
Bev will be dearly missed by her daughter Laurel, and her children Ann (Jerry), Erik (Amber), Chris (Kristine); her daughter Gail and husband Del, and their children Emily and Cory; her son Tom and wife Maxine, and their children Molly (Alec), Jeff; her daughter Janet and husband Dennis and their children Chad (Janelle), Jenna (Drew), and Megan (Ryan); her nephew Mike (Char) and their children, Jeremy (Jamie) and their children Jonah, Ezra, Mikah and Luca, Peter (Zoe) and their children Henrik and Simon, and Hannah (Kurt) and their daughter Lena; her niece Sheryl (Herb); her nephew John (Jenny) and their children Laura (Derek), CC (Cedar), Annie (Lane), and Jack. Also surviving her are her 16 great-grandchildren (soon to be 17), Haley, Tyler, Ryan, TJ, Emma, Parker, Charlee, Piper, Evie, Isla, Cal, Graham, Brody, Tanner, David and Greta.
Welcoming her in heaven were her husband of 65 years, Jr.; her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Barb Brosowske; her son-in-law, Tom Haroldson; her parents, Laura and Alvin Manstrom; her sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Bob Muehlberg; her brother and sister-in-law, Leslie and Marge Manstrom; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wyndmere Lutheran Church, Elk Creek Cemetery, or a charity of your choice.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Long live the memory of Bev Brosowske!
A Celebration of Beverly's life will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Wyndmere Lutheran Church at 6 PM. Visitation will be held from 4 - 6 PM. Pastor Jack Carlson will officiate.
