Chandel Gilleo-Wold

Chandel Gilleo-Wold, 30, of Wahpeton, ND passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by her memorial service at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.  Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home.

Chandel was born on April 1, 1987 in Great Falls, MT.  Growing up she lived in Illinois, Texas, Montana and North Dakota, where she’s lived since 2001.  She attended school in Wahpeton, ND and later received her GED.  Chandel married Dan Wold in Wahpeton, and together they were blessed with four wonderful children.

Chandel loved to sing and act and even entered in contests throughout grade school.  She was a passionate, giving and caring person who was full of life and had so much love in her heart for everyone.  She had a smile that would light up the room.  Her children were her life and she loved them deeply, always working hard to provide for them.  She was always willing to help not matter how dirty the job was.  She was a great mother, sister, daughter and friend and was loved by many.

Chandel is survived by her mother, Melanie Hansey; her four children, Dan Patrick, Zahkia Paul, Aveline Rose, and Callia Ann Wold; her brother, Dustin Gilleo and his children, Jasper Cusey and Quinevere Johnson; her grandparents, Mona Rosley, Meryl Hansey and Muriel Rodriguez; great-uncles, Scott, Wade and Kent Hansey; great-aunt, Tiffanie Hansey-Pew; sister-in-law, Lori Hansey; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Donald Rosley.
