Christopher Ramsden

Christopher Ramsden, 67, of Wahpeton, ND passed away on Friday, February 9, 2017 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by his memorial service at 2:00 pm at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Christopher was born on August 6, 1949 in Montreal, Quebec to Joan Melinda Lewis-Ramsden and Robert George Ramsden. He grew up in Dorval, Quebec and moved to Manitoba in his early twenties where he met and married Karen Crosson. Together they had two children, June Crosson and Christine (Crosson) Durago.
In 1988 Christopher met and later married Monica Marie Mohn and became a permanent resident of the United States. Christopher and Monica had twins, Krisann (Ramsden) Mullican and Steven Ramsden in 1989.
Christopher was a professional over the road driver for 46 years. He traveled all 10 provinces in Canada as well as all 48 states as a company driver and for several years as an owner operator. He loved his job and did it well.
Christopher is survived by one brother, Roderick Ramsden, four children, one stepson, grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
