Daniel Cagley

Daniel “Dan” Cagley, 65, passed away Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, at his home in Corcoran, MN. His service will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, at Vertin Munson Funeral Home in Wahpeton, ND. Family will receive the public from 10-11 AM and the Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Fr. Greg Haman will officiate the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.

Dan was born on Sept. 17, 1958, in St. Louis Park to Ramon and Ramona (Moulsoff) Cagley. He went to North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpteon, ND where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics. Dan was united in marriage to ZoAnn (Eisenbraun) Prowell on September 5, 1992, in Wooddale Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, MN. Once they got married, they moved to Texas for a short while. He and ZoAnn lived in St. Louis Park, MN for 20 years and the last 17 years in Corcoran, MN. Dan worked for numerous businesses throughout his life such as, Western Geophysical in the Gulf of Mexico, Bennett Material Handling as a Manager of the Service Department for forklift maintenance, and owned and operated DZC Enterprise for 30 years.

Dan enjoyed time outdoors and spending time at the lake, snowmobiling in Voyager National Park, and ice fishing. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. Dan especially enjoyed working on cars and equipment. He was a man of character, had a good sense of humor, and most importantly was very family orientated.

He is survived by his wife, ZoAnn, one stepson, Zachariah Prowell (wife Shandra and their children Lila and Levi). Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
