Deirdre Graham-Meidinger

Deirdre Graham-Meidinger, 51, Fairmount, ND passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her residence. A gathering with the family will be held on Thursday, March 30, from 5 PM to 7 PM with a sharing of stories at 7 PM at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Deirdre was born on November 3, 1965 to Phyllis Green in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Fargo and received her GED from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was united in marriage to Todd Meidinger and to this union a son and a daughter were born.

Deirdre was a truck driver who hauled grain for entities around the area and she also hauled propane. She was also a bartender and enjoyed the socializing and storytelling involved in that profession. She was an animal lover, from her Shiatzu, Abbey, who loved to go on drives with, to her loon collection, calving season, and especially horses and barrel racing. She was great at cooking from scratch and known to go to any and all garage sales she could find. She also liked the lake life with her kids and sunsets.

Deirdre is survived by her children, Brandon Meidinger, and Jordan Meidinger, both of Fargo, ND; her step-father, Ivan Susag, Hawley, MN; her partner, James "Jim" Wirtz, Fairmount, ND; and her uncle, Bob (Kathleen) Green, Fargo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Susag, and her grandparents, Ira and Helen Green.
