Donna J. Sikorski

Donna Jean Sikorski, 84, of Wyndmere, ND passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 surrounded by family at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Visitation will be held Monday January 30, 2023 from 9:00am to11:00am followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Wyndmere, ND with Father Troy Simonsen presiding.

Donna was born in Breckenridge MN on December 15, 1938 to Harry and Gladys (Johnson) Scheidegger and grew up in Fairmount, ND. She married John Sikorski on August 30, 1958. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Cenex for many years. She loved to make quilts, play Bingo, go to the casino and play cards with her grandchildren (who accused her of cheating). She also enjoyed spending time at their camper at Ottertail Campground.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Sikorski; children, Kari (Jim) Wavra of Red Lake Falls, MN, Cindy (Steve) Faeth of West Fargo, ND, Stephen Sikorski of Knoxville, TN, Mary (Roger) Haberman of Fargo, ND Deborah Sikorski of Fargo,ND, Michael (Kristi) Sikorski of West Fargo, ND, and Julie (Jason) Miller of Herman, MN; sisters, Sharon Swanson of Fargo, ND and Harriet Marquardt of Fargo, ND; 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Gladys Scheidegger; sister, Gwennith Breuer; granddaughter, Kelly Ehlers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.
