Eric Seibold

November 20, 1975 — March 19, 2016

Eric Michael Seibold, 40, Wahpeton, ND passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 25, at 10:30 AM at Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church, Breckenridge, MN with Rev. Bruce Stumbo officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 pm to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Breckenridge. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Eric was born on November 20, 1975 in Nampa, Idaho to Michael and Eileen (Haakenson) Seibold. He attended school there until his family moved to Bottineau, ND where he graduated in 1994. He then attended NDSCS and received an Associate Degree in John Deere Diesel Technology in July of 1996. Eric then worked for John Deere in Breckenridge, MN, Jeff and Mike Yaggie Farms, and Waste Management. In January 2010, Eric began his career with the City of Wahpeton where he worked at the Water Treatment Plant to the present date.

Eric was united in marriage to Carrin Bredeson on June 7, 1997 at Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church in Breckenridge. They lived in Wahpeton and raised their five daughters. His life revolved around his family and he was a proud father who loved to attend his daughter's activities.

Eric was an active member of Inspiration Lutheran Brethren Church where he was a trustee, worked with the youth, and was involved in Ruby's Pantry. He loved farming, biking, and especially camping at the lake with his family. Eric always had a project going and was very passionate about helping others, he took this with him to the very end when he finished his project to give others the gift of life as an organ donor while he held his wife's hand as she hugged him goodbye to meet the God that he loved.

Eric will be deeply missed by his wife, Carrin, his daughters, Lianna, Olivia, Syrina, Jenna, and Julya all at home; his parents, Michael and Eileen Seibold, Wahpeton; his sister, Melissa (Randy) Kruger, St. Croix Falls, WI; his mother-in-law, Cynthia (Dewey) Christenson, Battle Lake, MN; his brother and sisters-in-law, Kristina (Mike)Fielding, Battle Lake, MN, Nicholas (Tiffany) Bredeson, New Ulm, MN, Rachel Goss, Grand Forks, ND; his nieces and nephews, Michaela, Raelynn, and Samuel Kruger, Michael, Meaghan, Jonathan, and Sophia Fielding, and Noah Bredeson; his grandmother-in-law, Rubye Uhren, Vining, MN, and many special aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his children, Erin and Oliver, his paternal grandparents, J. Floyd and Virginia Seibold, and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Melida Haakenson.
