Jeremy Johnson

Jeremy A. Johnson, 34, Wahpeton, ND died Saturday, May 2, 2009 at his residence. The Memorial Funeral Mass will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 7 at St. Gall’s Catholic Church, Tintah , MN , with Rev. Arlie Sowada as celebrant. There will be visitation with the family one hour before the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be at St. Gall’s Catholic Cemetery, Tintah, MN. .

Jeremy was born November 22, 1974 at Breckenridge , MN , the son of Kent and Lisa (Morgan) Johnson. He grew up in Wahpeton, attending Wahpeton Schools and graduated from Wahpeton Senior High in 1993. Jeremy was self employed doing construction work in the area.

Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors when he was growing up and more recently enjoyed time with his nephews, darts and was an avid sports fan.

Jeremy is survived his father Kent Johnson, Wahpeton; his mother Lisa Meyer, Apache Junction, AZ; his brothers: Adam (Alicia) LeNoue, Wahpeton; Brandon Prochnow and Justin Meyer; Wahpeton; his grandmother, Corrine Johnson, Breckenridge, MN; his nephews: Gavin, Braden and Collin LeNoue.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ernest Johnson and his maternal grandparents, Don and Mary Morgan.

Arrangements are with the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
