JoAnn M. Hinsverk

JoAnn M. Hinsverk, 87, Moorhead, MN, passed away on March 31, 2023, at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.  Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one-half hour before the service at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.  Fr. Dale Lagodinski will officiate the service.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton at a later date.  

JoAnn Margaret Arth was born December 22, 1935, in Lidgerwood, North Dakota to Peter and Veronica Arth.  She grew up on the family farm, and graduated from Lidgerwood High School. 

JoAnn was united in marriage to Dale Hinsverk, and they made their home in Wahpeton, ND, where they raised their three sons, and were business owners.  She worked in their appliance store for many years.

JoAnn enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family at Ottertail Lake.  She will be missed.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Doug Sukut, Bruce Hinsverk, Steve (Jean) Hinsverk; grandchildren, Cole Hinsverk, Carson Hinsverk; siblings, Gary, Josephine, and Judy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale; parents, Peter and Veronica Arth; siblings, Joyce and Jeanette.
