Our special little angel, Kiera Eve Nelson was born to Paul and Darcy Block-Nelson, and received her angel’s wings on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Fargo Birth Center , Meritcare Hospital , Fargo , ND . Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16 at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton with Rev. Jule’ Ballinger (of Bethel Lutheran Church , Wahpeton) officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Willow Creek Chapel. Interment will be held at ‘Babyland’ Fairview Cemetery , Wahpeton.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Darcy, Wahpeton; her sister, Keisha (3 ¾ years old), Wahpeton; maternal grandparents, Melvin ‘Buddy’ Block, Jr. and Kathy Thielman, Gwinner, ND and Christi Block, Fargo; paternal grandparents, Jim and Cindi Facey, Wahpeton, Keith and Deb Nelson, Fargo; maternal great-grandparents, Melvin Block, Sr, Grenville, SD, Jean Foerster, Lead, SD; paternal great-grandparents, Earl Nelson, Lidgerwood, ND and Evelyn Chapa, Wahpeton; 3 aunts, Melissa ‘Me-Me’ Block, Fargo, Danielle Gereszek, Gwinner, Jessica Nelson, Brookings, SD; and 4 uncles, Brian Nelson, Fargo, Derek Nelson, Glyndon, MN, Josh and Nick Facey, both of Wahpeton.

Kiera was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Block; paternal grandmother, Janice Nelson; paternal grandfather, Charles Chapa; and her special grandmother, Susan Siemieniewski.
