Lois Randall, 87, New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Wahpeton, ND passed away Monday, December 22 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church, Wahpeton. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to services Saturday morning. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.

Lois was born to Harold and Fannie (Davis) Ellis on July 25, 1927 and grew up on the family farm, attending schools in Campbell, MN. She graduated Campbell High School with the class of 1944. Following graduation, Lois left Minnesota and held an office position in Atlanta, GA before returning to the Wahpeton area where she was employed at Sears. Lois met her future husband through her Sears' co-worker and future sister-in-law, Leona Randall. Lois married John Randall on February 18, 1947 at St John's Church in Wahpeton, ND. Throughout their married life, she provided bookkeeping services for the businesses they owned and operated in the Wahpeton area. Lois was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, generously giving and enjoying social outings and family gatherings which always were a highlight for her.
She was an active member of the Eagles, American Legion, VFW Auxiliary, Elkettes, St. John's Christian Mothers, St. John's Parish (Wahpeton, ND) and Our Lady Queen of Peace (New Port Richey, FL).
Preceded in death by her husband John Randall, daughter Gayle Byrd, and infant son John Joseph Randall Jr., parents Harold Ellis and Fannie Ellis., brother and sister-in-law Duane and Marian Ellis, sisters-in-law: Frances LaFoone, Carolyn Reyelts, Joan Randall, brothers-in-law: Tony Randall, Jerry Randall, LeRoy Minar, Carl LaFoone, Vernon Reyelts, and Barron Johnson.
Survived by children Amy Franke (husband Dean) of Brooklyn Park MN, Mike Randall (wife Barb) of St. Louis MO, Steve Randall (wife Kathy) of Lawrence KS. Grandsons: John Franke (wife Laura), Matthew Franke (wife Maggie), Benjamin Franke (wife Megan), Joseph Byrd (wife Lauren), John Randall, Jacob Randall, Peter Randall, and Jack Randall. Great Grandchildren: Esme Franke, Miriam Franke, Jocelyn and Collette Byrd.
