Lorraine Adele Bladow

Lorraine A. Bladow, 92, of Ottertail, MN, passed away on September 14, 2026, in Perham, MN. Lorraine was born on October 19, 1933, at Fairmount, North Dakota to Fred Sr. and Leone (Templeton) Buck. She attended Fairmount Grade School and High School. On October 24, 1953, she married Clarence W. Bladow at the First English Lutheran Church in Fairmount. The couple made their home in Wahpeton for the next 21 years, where they raised their family and were very active in the community. Lorraine worked with the Richland County Auditor's Office and always helped out at the Richland County Treasurer's office during the busy tax season. In 1974, they moved to Fargo, where Clarence was Branch Coordinator and Vice President of Metropolitan Savings and Loan. Lorraine was employed by the Fargo Public School District as a Teacher's Aide. In 1985, the couple retired and built their home on Ottertail Lake, MN, where they have since resided. Lorraine was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Ottertail, MN, and a former member of Richland County Homemakers and the Wahpeton Jaycettes. Lorraine loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family, who will miss her dearly. 

Lorraine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Bladow; her parents, Fred Sr. and Leone (Templeton) Buck; and her brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Jan) Buck Jr.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Brian (Peggy) Battle Lake, MN; daughter, Kristy Graf Fargo, ND; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. 

Her funeral service will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour before the service at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ottertail, MN. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Wahpeton, ND.
