Manford Olson

Manford C. Olson, age 88 of Mooreton, ND, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 21, 2018.  Manford was born on October 10, 1929 in Wahpeton, ND to Gerald and Gorda Olson.  Manford and Grace, his wife of 66 years, farmed near Mooreton, ND and were blessed with six children. Manford enjoyed spending time at his lake home on Blanche Lake.   Manford felt gratitude for the full rich life that God gave him.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.  Manford is survived by his wife Grace, four daughters, Rebecca (Gary) Lee, Pat Beithon, Ramona (Richard) Engelmann and Karen (Cort) Cieminski;  two sons, David (Sydney) Olson and William (Kelly) Olson.  He was a proud grandpa to 13 grandchildren.  Manford is also survived by his three sisters,  Ada Flippo, Lois Clark and Phyllis (James) Sheridan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald Olson, Jr. The family will celebrate Manford's life in a private gathering to be held on a warm sunny day near the farm he so dearly loved.  A special thanks to family, friends, and neighbors for their prayers, support and assistance provided to Manford and his family.
