Mary Held

MaryAnn was born October 26, 1934, at Selz , ND , the daughter of Karl and Katie (Fuhrmann) Held. She lived in Grafton from 1942 to 1985 when she moved to Wahpeton with Red River Human Services where has since resided.

MaryAnn attended St. John’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed television, listening to music, working of handicraft projects and took great interest in her doll collection. She particularly loved getting together with family, especially taking trips with her sister Julia.

MaryAnn is survived by her nine brothers and sisters: Theresa Kunkel, Vancouver, WA; Stephen Held and Eugene Held, both Wahpeton; Bernadine (Bill) Meredith, Summerville, SC; George (Sheila) Held, Vancouver, WA; Shirley Smith, Dallas, OR; Angie (Richard) Fontana, Portland, WA; Julia (Willis Mattison) Held, Osage, MN; Janet (Ed) Heering-Larkin, Fulton, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
