Randy DuWayne Simdorn was born on May 11, 1953 to DuWayne and Gloria (Schlotfeldt) Simdorn. Randy graduated from high school in Lidgerwood, North Dakota. He was united in marriage to Debra Loraas on May 27, 1978 in Hankinson, North Dakota. Randy worked at Clark Equipment from 1971 to 1981. He has been employed by 3M since 1981. Randy belonged to the Ames Noon Kiwanis and was a member of the
United Church of Christ
. He enjoyed traveling, quilting, fixing things and
spending time with family and friends
.

He is survived by his wife, Deb; 2 daughters, Laura (Joe) McComish, Plymouth, MN and Leslie (Darin) Gully, Columbia, MO; his mother, Gloria Simdorn; and sister, Brenda Simdorn.
Randy was preceded in death by his father.
