Robert Jacobs

Robert T. Jacobs, 61, Fargo, ND, originally Wahpeton, ND, passed away February 22, 2015 at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Willow Creek Chapel (920 3rd Ave. N.) Wahpeton, ND, with Rev. Peter Erickson officiating. There will be visitation with Bob's family one hour before the service. Inurnment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Robert Thomas Jacobs was born July 4, 1953, in Breckenridge, MN, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Peterson) Jacobs. He grew up in Wahpeton, attending schools, graduated from Wahpeton Senior High in 1971 and from University of North Dakota in 1977. Robert lived and worked as a sales representative in Minneapolis, MN and Phoenix, AZ. He moved to Fargo in 2007.

Robert is survived by his mother, Dorothy, and his sister, Laurie, both of Fargo; two brothers, Gary (Sonja) of Apple Valley, MN and Charles (Karen) of Coon Rapides, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.

A lunch will be served after the Inurnment; memorials may be given to Roger Maris Cancer Center.
