Robert V. Maier

Robert (Bob) Vernon Maier, 78, passed away at St. Catherine’s in Wahpeton, ND on Sunday, May 14, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, North Campus, 2900 Broadway N, Fargo, ND on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 12 noon, lunch at 1 pm and burial at 2 pm at Fargo National Cemetery.

Bob was born on June 10, 1945, at Verona, ND. He served in the Army in Germany. When he returned, he settled in Sabin, MN where he ran his own business Captain Clean, designed a water sandblaster and manufactured it. He loved flying and spending time at the lakes at their cabin.

He moved to oak port township and added Toby (a black Arabian horse). After 15 years they moved to Kent, MN on a farm site.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Lynn) Maier; son, Jason; daughter Jamie; grandson, Will Rhodes; and his nieces and nephews.
