Steve Bellmore

Steve Bellmore, 64, of Fairmount, ND, passed away on June 10, 2024, in Fairmount. Born on March 18, 1960, in Winston Salem, NC, to Charles and Patricia (Whedbee) Bellmore, Steve was the eldest of his siblings: Brian, Jeff, Mike, Kathy, Mark, Kim, and Dean.

After high school, Steve began a career at Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative in Wahpeton, where he dedicated 44 years before retiring. Those he worked with remember him by his strong work ethic and willingness to assist others. 

Steve enjoyed a simple life, finding happiness in everyday moments. He had a passion for motorcycle riding, he lived for the feeling of the wind on his face as he traveled open roads. He also loved fishing and ice fishing, especially with his son Steven, and cherished the many dogs that were part of his life.

He is survived by his four sons: Steven, Jeremy, Brandon and Ryan; his siblings: Brian (Karen) Bellmore, Jeff Bellmore (special friend Carly), Mike Bellmore, Kathy (Adam) Walton, Mark Bellmore, Kim (Joel) Nelson, and Dean (Trudi) Bellmore; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

As we remember Steve Bellmore, let us celebrate the life he lived rather than dwell on our sorrow. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the kindness he shared. Rest in peace, Steve. 

A private family burial will take place at a later date.
