Trudy Leedahl, 57, of Kindred, ND passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by her funeral service at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 6030 Cty. Rd. 23, Leonard, ND 58052. Rev. Wayne Quibell will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.
Trudy Trove was born on June 28, 1959 to Gene and Lilias (Agnew) Trove in Savannah, GA. Growing up she lived in various places including Scotland, Massachusetts, and then moved to the family farm near Walcott, ND. She attended school in Wyndmere, ND and later attended school in Kindred, ND, graduating with the class of 1978. She raised her three children on the farm near Leonard, ND.
Trudy loved to read books and cook, and worked at various restaurants around the area. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Trudy had a smile and personality that would light up the room. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Trudy is survived by her children, Michael Leedahl and Ericka (Tony) Huseth; siblings, Terry Trove and Tracy (Scott) Heath; grandchildren, Riley Leedahl, Brooke Leedahl, Britney Leedahl, Blake Leedahl, Max Huseth, and Sydney Huseth; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilias and Gene; her beloved son, Daniel; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
