Yejidë Williams

Yejidë Marie Williams, 7 ½ months, of Wahpeton, ND, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her home.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wahpeton.

I am Yejidë  Marie Williams. I brought happiness, light and purpose to my parents, Keisha and David Wiliams, when I was born September 13, 2018. The first time I smiled was when Mommy was singing to me. Even though I am only seven and a half months old, Daddy said I am advanced because I could already say dinosaur, sometimes my name but especially because I could say Daddy. I loved to play with my toys and nearly everything I picked up because I had Daddy’s energy and optimism. It was so much fun to pull myself up and to dance.  I especially liked to dance to rap.  I was always trying to climb up on Mommy and to get to her food. Food? Peas are definitely my favorite. No carrots but pickles and Taki’s are my favorite snacks.  Though I had to go much sooner than you ever dreamed of, know that I am in heaven with Auntie, always loving you and asking Jesus to take care of you.
