Justin Stevens

Justin Patrick Stevens, 28, of Breckenridge, MN passed away on March 23, 2022, at his home. His loss is completely unexpected, and his family is shocked and deeply saddened. His charming soul, infectious smile, remarkable dance moves, and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at Vertin-Munson Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.

Justin was born October 15, 1993, to Patrick Burhans in Covina, California. He attended Breckenridge Public Schools where he was passionate about history. Justin really only worked so he could afford all his favorite shoes. His long-time love for the San Francisco 49ers was well known but he had also started to develop love for the Buffalo Bills. In April 2016 Justin met the love of his life, Nora, who he then married on August 11, 2017. In his current free time, he enjoyed watching “The Office” and nature shows and also playing cards with his uncles, Rick and Bobby. He had quite the addiction to old cars, specifically Cadillacs, and shopping, because.. ya know, shoes.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Renee Burhans; Aunts, Barbara Vanderbend and Kimberly Burhans; and cousin, Kellie Vanderbend.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nora; their dogs, Ekko and Kittle; his father, Patrick (Wendy) Burhans; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Tresa Peck; siblings, Jeffrey (Tiffani) Stevens, Amy (Daniel) Beasley, Cody (Samantha) McLaren, Breanna (Wesley) Hallquist; sister and brother-in-law, Mariah and Justin Kubik; as well as too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews to count.
